Hyundai Motor India Limited is planning to launch Hyundai Creta 7 seater model for the Indian market, read to know the Design, features, and launch details.
The Hyundai Motors is the country’s second-largest carmaker, has proved to be a superstar in the SUV segment despite tremendous competition in its segment.
Due to the popularity, it has gained over the last few years, customers are waiting for the 7 seater model from the carmaker. In view of this, the company has been working on the 7-seater model of Hyundai Creta for quite some time.
The 7-seater SUV coming to India can be named Hyundai Alcazar. Leaked documents have revealed that Hyundai has recently filed a trademark application for a new SUV named Alcazar in India.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has recently trademarked Alcazar in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The company filed this application on 12 April 2020.
The company has proposed this name for SUV (Sports Utility Vehicles). There is no other model named Alcazar in the international market. This means that it will be a new SUV car.
Hyundai is going to bring a bigger version of the Creta in India, so it is expected that the 7-seater version of the Creta will be offered as Hyundai Alcazar.

Hyundai Creta 7 Seater Spied
The 7-seater Creta has been spotted worldwide testing, and one of them was recently spotted in India as well. However, there is no information on whether the 7-seater Creta will be called Alcazar in international markets. But, just like the Creta, it will be sold in China by making some minor changes to the interior of this SUV.
Significantly, Hyundai’s upcoming SUV was recently spotted during testing in South Korea. This indicates that this SUV will soon be sent to the production line.
However, there has been no official statement from Hyundai about the launch of this SUV and it is not known that it will be launched in India.
Auto sector experts are confident that the new Hyundai SUV will be launched in India. This conviction has solid grounds.
First and foremost, the popularity of the three-row SUV has increased significantly in recent times. More and more automakers are preparing to launch their new models in this segment. MG Motor is also about to launch its new model MG Hector Plus (7 Seater) in this segment soon.
Design
Compared to the Hyundai Creta SUV, Hyundai Alcazar will see many significant changes. The inclusion of the third row in the new 7-seater SUV will make the SUV larger in size.
Apart from this, it can get a new grille, alloy wheels, large LED taillights. The new SUV will have a sleeker front profile with new design roof rails and rooflines, new side sills, and slim c-pillars. Talking about the cabin’s features, it can be similar to the Creta.

Engine
Hyundai Alcazar can offer SUVs with engine options like the Hyundai Creta. Hyundai Creta offers a choice of 1.4-liter GDI turbocharged petrol engine, 1.5-liter petrol engine and 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Both the 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines generate 113 bhp power and 144 Nm torque. The turbo-petrol engine generates 138 bhp of power and 242 Nm of torque.
Launch
The New SUV may be launched in China by the end of this year. At the same time, in India, this SUV can be launched by the beginning of next year i.e. 2021.
