India’s one of the trusted two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has relaunched its iconic scooter Chetak but this time in an electric avatar. Bajaj launched its Electric Scooter Chetak on 14 January.
The look of the scooter is quite attractive and premium and it generates a peak power of 5.36 bhp and 16 Nm torque, The scooter has a 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack and it can be charged with the standard 15A power socket at home.

This scooter can be charged 25% in 1 hour and fully charged in 5 hours. Bajaj Auto claims that the battery life given in Chetak is around 70 thousand kilometers.
Chetak has two riding modes (Eco and Sport). The company claims that Chetak will run more than 95 kilometers in electric eco mode on a full charge and more than 85 kilometers in the sport mode.

This scooter comes with three riding modes including Economy, Sport, and Turbo. Its top speed is 30–35 kph on Economy mode while in Sport mode it runs at a speed of 50–60 kph, while on Turbo mode it runs at a speed of 65–70 kph.

The company claims that Okinawa PraisePro will give a mileage of up to 88 km after a full charge and up to 110 km in economy mode. It will take 2-3 hours for a full charge.
